We look for trans and non-binary individuals in Latin America with:

  • Reliability and attention to detail
  • Fluency in Spanish and/or English
  • Comfort with tools like Gmail, Slack, Google Workspace, Zoom
  • Motivation to build a sustainable career
  • No prior freelancing experience required

We're not looking for degrees or certifications. We're looking for capability, commitment, and drive. If you show up and do the work, we invest in you.

02. Training (8 weeks)

What you'll learn

Our curriculum covers everything you need to work as a professional Virtual Assistant:

Throughout training: 1-on-1 coaching, peer support, real-world projects, and continuous feedback. By week 8, you'll be ready.

03. Upwork Launch (50/50 co-funded)

How it's funded

This is where it gets real. Your entry to Upwork is paid for by two partners working together:

Covers 50% of your Upwork profile launch, including membership fees, initial marketing, and profile optimization.

๐Ÿ’ผ Trans-TI

Covers 50% and integrates you into their agency. They actively pitch you to clients, negotiate terms, and fight for your work.

You don't pay anything. Both organizations invest because they believe in you.

04. Active Job Matching

The secret weapon

Most freelancers create a profile and hope for work. You don't have to hope.

Trans-TI has a dedicated team that:

  • Searches actively for projects that match your skills
  • Submits proposals on your behalf (you review first)
  • Pays for connects required for your applications
  • Negotiates rates to ensure fair compensation
  • Supports delivery from start to finish
  • Follows up daily until you land consistent work
  • You handle interviews directly with the client

You focus on delivery. We focus on opportunity.

05. Income

What happens next

Once you land your first client, the real work begins. You deliver excellent work. You communicate professionally. You solve problems.

As clients get to know you and trust you, projects expand. Your rate increases. Your profile gains reviews. New opportunities come through.

06. Supervision & Support

Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins

You're never alone. Once you start working with clients, supervisors from Trans-TI stay deeply connected. Weekly or bi-weekly check-ins with you and your client ensure quality, resolve issues early, and unlock growth opportunities.

This isn't micromanagement. It's active partnership. Your supervisor bridges communication, advocates for you, and helps you scale from your first small project to larger, higher-paying work.

This ongoing support is what transforms freelance work into stable, sustainable careers. You have a team behind you, invested in your success.

How do I apply? +

Head to our contact page and fill out the application form. Tell us about yourself, your experience, and why you're interested. We review all applications and reach out to promising candidates within 2 weeks.

Do I need freelancing experience? +

No. Zero experience is fine. We train you from scratch. What matters is that you're reliable, willing to learn, and motivated to succeed. If you show up, we invest in you.

What if I don't get a job after training? +

Trans-TI doesn't stop pitching until you land work. They have committed capacity for job matching. If you're trained and ready, and you're showing up, they keep looking. This is the partnership we've built.

How much can I earn? +

Our current cohort earns $700โ€“$1000+ per month. Gabrielle at $700, Fernanda at $900, Renzo at $1000. This depends on the type of work, your specialization, and client demand. The more specialized you become, the more you earn.

How long is the training? +

8 weeks. Intensive, focused, and practical. By the end, you're ready to be pitched to clients. Training is free โ€” funded by donors like you.
